Dr. Md. Shahidul Haque Bir is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy Department under the Faculty of Agriculture at the City University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. More than 12 years Teaching and Research experience in different National and International Development Project & Research organization, like BINA, ATI, IFDC and Rural Development Academy (RDA), South Korea. Dr. Bir used to carry out different research of field crop specially rice with agronomical (Weed management, Saline Management, post-harvest Management, Cropping System and Crop Rotation etc.) and experimental history of working in research organization as well as Seed industry. Strong agricultural professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in “Climate Change” from College of Agriculture & Life Science, Chungnam National University, South Korea. Rice and Population Dynamics of Paddy Weeds under Climate Change Condition was one of his major tasks in PhD studies. Dr. Bir has published 27 Research Papers in reputed journals and proceedings. He has presented three international conference papers in the Korean Society of Weed Science (KWSS). Dr. Bir is a member of the Korean Society of Weed Science and Korea-China-Japan Graduate Student Forum. He is also a member of Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh (KIB) & Agronomy Society of Bangladesh (BAS). Dr. Bir is an Editorial board member of Journal of Agriculture, Food and Environment (JAFE). Publisher: Society of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
