Admission Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons)
I. SSC/Dakhil and HSC/Alim Passed Candidates:
Candidates from SSC/Dakhil and HSC/Alim should meet the following criteria:
• Candidates passing HSC/Alim or equivalent examination in Science Group with minimum GPA 2.5 (with additional subject) and SSC/Dakhil or equivalent with minimum GPA 2.5.
• The sum total GPA of SSC/Dakhil and HSC/Alim should be minimum 6.0 (with additional subject).
II. GCE Passed Candidates:
Candidates from GCE should meet the following criteria:
• O Level: Minimum C Grade in five subjects including, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry (in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 and E=1).
• A Level: Minimum C Grade in 3 subjects including Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.
• The sum total of GPA in GCE A and O level should be 6.
• The candidates with E grade in any subject will not be considered.
III. SSC/Dakhil and Diploma Passed Candidates:
Candidates with Diploma should meet the following criteria:
• Diploma holders in relevant subjects are eligible to apply with at least a GPA of 2.50.
IV. General Rules:
The following clauses are applicable for all the above cases (i-iii):
• Applicants who have passed HSC or equivalent in the last three (3) consecutive years are eligible to apply. Based on the SSC and HSC results of the candidate, special consideration may be given for study break of 4 years after HSC or equivalent exam.
• Applicants who have obtained a total GPA of 9.0 or more in HSC/Alim or equivalent and SSC/Dakhil or equivalent are eligible for direct admission (without Admission Test).
• Direct admission facility may also be offered to the Diploma holders having minimum GPA 3.00 in relevant subjects (or minimum GPA 3.50 for a Diploma holder without having the relevant diploma background from science discipline) and at least GPA 3.00 in SSC/Dakhil or equivalent level.
• 3% of the total seats are reserved for the children of Freedom Fighters with tuition fee waiver.
• 3% of the total seats are reserved for remote and undeveloped areas and physically compromised candidates.
• Up to 100% admission fee waiver for Quran-E-Hafez.
Criteria for Foreign Students
Candidates with foreign nationality or having passed from foreign education system should the following criteria:
I. Foreign nationals who have successfully passed in their Secondary School and Higher Secondary or their equivalent examination (after 12 years of schooling) having at least 50% marks from foreign educational institutes.
II. Have English as medium of instruction or IELTS-5.0/TOEFL-79 on IBT.
III. Apply within two years from the date of completion of the standard twelve years course curriculum.
IV. Candidates for engineering programs must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Secondary or Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
V. Candidates having contagious and communicable diseases or cardiac problems are not eligible for admission.
Admission Test and Procedure
The details regarding the admission tests are as follows:
A MCQ test will be conducted on Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English (Comprehension and Functional). The test will be of 100 marks and maximum 2 hours duration.
